But at Song Dynasty Town, an amusement park in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province of China, on July 20, 2016, that’s just what happened.
Tourists from all over competed in a pepper eating competition and added an unusual component to their contest to beat the heat. They sat in ice buckets.
Because the temperature in Hangzhou had skyrocketed, the ice buckets allowed contestants to feel hot and cool at the same time.
