AN OPEN LETTER TO THE LEADERS OF FGN & IPOB

AN OPEN LETTER TO THE LEADERS OF FGN & IPOB

Mr. President and Nnamdi Kanu,

Forget the courtesies, I seriously don't care how you both are doing. Personally, I wish you choke on your saliva and die, but that'll be too much of a peaceful death for the both of you, and honestly, you deserve something more horrible, like being burnt at a stake, or better still, being skinned alive. The both of you are nightmares, the worst thing that has happened to Nigeria since the Ebola epidemic of 2014.
How do you both sleep at night, knowing you've sent people to their grave, innocent civilians for that matter. I agree, some of them are somewhat foolish, but since when is foolishness a crime that comes with a death sentence? Speaking of foolishness, with all due respect Sirs, neither of you are wise. How exactly do you think this will end? In your delusional minds, you expect one side to win, after thousands, if not millions of souls have been lost? You're in for a rude awakening.

Firstly, let me first talk to my brother, self-proclaimed leader of the IPOB. Uncle Nnamdi, I put it to you that you are so many things but a leader isn't one. You're a menace. Look around you, since you came with your "mission", you've done more harm than good. You may decieve these poor unsuspecting individuals that you're here to give them freedom, but we both know that way deep down, you really don't care about us. You're just trying to be relevant, you power-hungry, attention-seeking troublemaker. What exactly are you freeing us from? The marginalization? The discrimination? The tribalism? You know, before you came into the picture, even if we were being marginalized, we weren't slaughtered in our homes. Children didn't turn to Orphans, Parents didn't become Childless, Wives weren't made Widows. We were being discriminated but we had our lives, we were still making our money and breaking protocols without appointments from the Federal Government, we were still surviving without revenues from the Government. We had peace, we weren't happy, but we had hope and we were ready to settle for it. Then you had to crawl out from whatever crevice you've been hiding, with your two left legs and your semi-functioning brain, and you had to start planting hate. Those who had seeds of hate already, you helped them nurture it, and now see, just take a look. You think you're helping us? Instigating war, committing treason, flaunting court orders, and you still have the effrontery to call it "peaceful protest"? Really? What is peaceful about the civil unrest you and your sheeps are causing? Blocking roads, pausing academic activities, carrying  placards and flags and walking around the streets, making noise, disturbing the environment? What dictionary defined that as peaceful? You keep going against the government, which by the way is called treason, but you still tell yourself it's a peaceful protest? People are dying, you're trying to start a war that you cannot win, and you call it the fight of freedom. I'm sorry, I don't know where you're getting your information from, but personally, I have and enjoy just as much rights as every other Nigerian, so, if you know the demon telling you that we're in bomdage, tell that demon to flee. Stop infecting us with your paranoia, rooted in hate. Let me inform you, for the sole reason that this chaos you're the architect of is rooted in hatred, you won't win.

Mr. GCFR, please explain to me what you mean by "Operation Python Dance"? What devil inspired that name? Seriously, of all names, python dance? Even operation breastify sounds way better than that rubbish name you picked up from whatever part of hell. See, Mr. President, let's be honest, We don't like you and you obviously don't like us, I know I don't like you, so let's just stop mincing words and cut to the chase. What exactly is your mission? To wipe the Igbo race off the surface of the earth? We both know that won't happen. In fact, the more we die, the more we're born, but you know this already, even if you're unwise, you're not ignorant. So what's your plan, to break us? Allow me inform you, If Nigeria was Game of Thrones, the Igbos would be the Dornnish people, ruled by House Mattel, with the sun sigil and the slogan "Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken". Just in case you don't get my very obvious point, you can't bend us, and you sure as hell can't break us. We'd rather die than succumb, and goodluck killing all of us. Whoever is advising you on the strategy you're using to handle us needs to be publicly castrated and buried alive. Mr. President, on the 29th of May, 2015, you swore an oath, to uphold the constitution, to protect the citizens, to protect lives and properties, yet, you've confidently broken the oath you took in front of the World, let's just pretend your impeachment is not long overdue. Sir, you know what you're doing to the Igbo people isn't right, you're just using their stupidity as an excuse to slaughter them. You're capitalizing on their foolishness to take revenge on them, and you know it. Look at Aba, the same people who made you their "Ogbuagu", I'm even more saddened that they gave you such a title. It obvious you don't know the implication, you're just dragging that title to the mud, like you did with Nigeria's integrity. Honestly, I can't say I'm disappointed or surprised, I saw this coming, but I was hoping you'd prove me wrong, but a leopard is just a leopard.

That being said, here's what I want the both of you to do. The both of you would stop this childishness, this nonsense, I don't care who started it, end it. If you know how you'll fix this problem you've caused, you do it. Hold a closed door meeting, bargain, negotiate, find a common ground and put a stop to this pointless power tussle. Two elephants are fighting and the poor grass is suffering. You both have to stop this rubbish, cause at the end of the day, you'll only destroy the country our fathers fought for with their bloods and built with their sweat. If you both want to get physical, please go ahead, I can fix a boxing match, as long as it's just you both on the ring. We know this war started decades ago, but I don't live in the past. Deal with whatever issues and mistakes your Fathers had. It's high time you put this tale of the unforgiving and unrepentant behind you and move on.
Please, I beg you in the name of God, or whoever it is you reverence, please stop this madness. Stop killing, stop protesting, stop snake-dancing. It's our Nigeria, whether we make it or we break it, we have to live with the consequences. Whatever decisions we make would affect our children and their children. The both of you should stop playing God before the real one decides to put you in your place. It's still early, salvage what we have left so we can forge ahead, before we get to a place of no return. Please, I beg you, you can put an end to this, please do. I am sick of seeing dead people everywhere, I'm tired of seeing injured and heartbroken people, I'm repulsed at the sight of people drinking mud water? Please, please and please. A wise person once said, "we make peace with our enemies, not our friends" . So yes, a peace treaty is long overdue. I just hope you both pause and listen to the voice of reasoning, before diplomacy won't be an option anymore, thank you.

"I pledge to Nigeria my country
To be faithful, loyal and honest
To serve Nigeria with all my strength
TO DEFEND HER UNITY
And uphold her honour and glory
So help me God"

Yours Truly.
