ERIE footage shows North Korea’s capital virtually EMPTY as the threat of World War Three escalates.
Despite being North Korea’s largest city, with a population of almost three million, the haunting clip shows roads, bridges and motorways completely empty.
The video – which was captured by Singaporean Aram Pan who filmed the scenes as he flew over the city – also shows deserted rural areas.
Mr Pan, 41, is part of a project called DPRK360, which aims to showcase North Korea through footage and pictures online.
The footage has emerged as global tensions concerning North Korea’s nuclear researching and military activity continues to rise.
Pyongyang despot Kim Jong-un has been testing weapons in recent weeks, including long rage missiles, despite warnings from the international community.
The country announced earlier this month that it conducted its sixth and most powerful test of a hydrogen bomb.
The bomb triggered an 6.3-magnitude earthquake - 10 times larger than any of North Korea's previous attempts.
In April, Russian newspaper Pravda Report claimed that Kim had ordered the EVACUATION of the North Korea capital.
More than 600,000 people - around 25 per cent of the city’s population - were being urgently evacuated, as tensions escalated between North Korea and the United States.
According to South Korean media, residents in the kingdom said goodbye to each other, sparking concerns the tyrannical leader could be about to act after months of weapon testing.
Vladimir Putin hit out at President Trump this week for threatening to impose more UN sanctions on North Korea, warning that the measure could push Kim Jong-un into starting a nuclear war.
He claimed the next step after sanctions would be an "invitation to the cemetery" because Kim will never give up his nuclear weapons.
The US leader has told Prime Minister Theresa May “now is not the time to talk” to North Korea in a phone call.
In a statement, the White House said: “President Trump reiterated that now is not the time to talk to North Korea, and made clear that all options remain open to defend the United States and its allies against North Korean aggression.
“The two leaders resolved to continue working closely together on increasing diplomatic and economic pressure on North Korea, and to call on others to do the same.”
